Visit to Balgram, Sonepat

VISIT TO BALGRAM,SONEPAT.

On 22nd November our Interact Club gave us this insightful opportunity to visit Balgram- a well organized and warm orphanage in Sonepat. The place was very pretty with big trimmed lawns, homey cottages with several small kitchen gardens. We had candid conversations with the house mothers and the inmates and came to know how much everyone love each other.
The inmates at Balgram are being given proper care and we are so glad to know that some of them have also cleared exams such as IAS entrance and been to exchange programmes in England.

We took with us loads of stationary/gifts and enjoyed snacks. It was so much fun to sing and dance along the wonderful people who despite all the odds live, laugh and love life.

Blood Donation Camp

On 8th November 2014, Saturday Interact club of our school organized Blood Donation Camp in our school premises which surprisingly turned out as a thumping success with 237 contributers when we were expecting only around 100 people. The donors were offered refreshment, donor's card, certificate and a mug as a momentum. The credit of this success goes to our Interactors who did everything from rallies (20th October, 1st November&7th November), pamphlet distribution to the use of social media for spreading the word and our teachers without whose guidance this event couldn't be possible. We sincerely thank all the blood owners who turned up to be noble-responsible blood donors :)
